This intricate tatting pattern instruction book for fingerless mitts was inspired by a pair found by Galina Khmeleva, a frequent PieceWork contributor and master Orenburg lace knitter. She discovered the vintage tatted gloves for this pattern recreation in an antiques store on one of her frequent teaching trips. She purchased them and shared them with PieceWork so that they would be able to have them re-created for this Book. Stephanie Wilson’s account of re-creating the gloves and her pattern for the re-creation and instructions will make an exciting project for an advanced beginner tatting aficianado.
