The scene on the front has a young boy and girl sorting through a bag of presents with a curious cat at their feet. The detailing on this Santa is created by a very unique wood burning technique, requiring thousands of individual burn strokes. The hair and beard, dark fur trim, floral patterns, scenes, everything of detail has been burned into the wood prior to applying the beautiful washes of paint.
